MEET THE CANDIDATE

I am a proud wife, mother, GiGi, and resident of Cedar Hill for over 30 years.  From my previous management of Hillside Village Shopping Center to my advocacy for vulnerable women and children, to my current service on Cedar Hill’s Planning & Zoning Commission, I have a proven track record of service, advocacy, and leadership.  I absolutely love where I live and that is why I want to be your next city councilperson.

Having served on countless Boards and Commissions, I have put in the work to connect with people and learn the different facets of our amazing city.  I chaired the citizen Think Tank for our Comprehensive Plan and I know firsthand what is ahead. This is not the time to learn on the job! My superpower is that I am an obstacle remover.  I have experience galvanizing groups and understanding issues to bridge gaps in order to reach effective solutions.

I am passionate about ensuring that the growth that is coming to our city is SMART growth.  I am serious about ensuring that there is proper infrastructure in place so that development does not intrude on our city, but rather, complements it. I am a staunch advocate for small businesses and believe that they are essential to a vibrant economy.  Lastly, I believe strongly that there is more that unites us than separates us.

I love being a part of the fabric of our city.

Please honor me with your support so that we can leave things better than we found them!
